She currently serves as the Council Chair on the New York City Chapter Board of the National Women in Roofing, whose mission is to empower women in the roofing industry through mentorship, education, networking, and industry recruitment.

Jessica Alzate

Jessica has been practicing architecture focused on the preservation and restoration of enclosures in New York City since 2011. She has led numerous projects focused on a wide variety of building exteriors ranging from historic ornamental masonry to cutting edge curtain wall systems. She is a Director of the IIBEC (International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants) Metro NY Chapter, where she also serves as the Chair of the Mentorship/Philanthropy Committee. She is the former Chair of NWIR (National Women in Roofing) NYC Council and is currently leading Metro Mentors, a mentorship initiative that connects industry professionals and advocates for mutual growth through mentor-mentee relationships.

Reneah has been practicing architecture specifically tailored to building envelopes in New York City since 2024. Previously a winner of the METROPOLIS Future 100 Award, she is a designer who views drawing as both a craft and a way of understanding how buildings function. Outside of the office, she enjoys watching films, reading, and tending to her ever-growing collection of house plants.
